Shirodhara

An ayurvedic healing body therapy. The word shirodhara originates from two Sanskrit words, shiro (head) and dhara (flow).

A rejuvenating treatment that begins with an energetic cleansing and arriving with essential oils, sage, or palo santo. This is followed by a warm herbal foot rub using essential oils to open the senses.

This simple yet profound treatment, in which a warm stream of herbalized oil is poured over your forehead and brow center, helps to balance and stabilize the activity of the mind. This soothing treatment is good for mental and emotional balance, and helps to awaken the third eye chakra, the center of spiritual consciousness.
